I'm originally from NH but have lived in the Charleston, SC, area since 1998. Most importantly, I am a wife, a mother, a sister, a daughter, a friend, and an animal lover. I love to listen more than talk. I'd rather walk than run. If I had to pick a place where I am the most content, it would be in the woods, near a stream with soft moss and wild berries! This place is where I grew up. I spent hours exploring, and although I probably complained as a kid, looking back on it now – it was magical!

I am passionate about health and wellness! Don't get me wrong. I still love wine and sweet treats here and there. But I also love educating myself, becoming an expert, and sharing what I have learned with you!

I became interested in the wellness field because I couldn't find any answers in traditional medicine. I struggled with fatigue and embarrassing digestive issues that impacted my entire life. I developed weird food sensitivities that left me feeling scared to eat. On the outside, I looked healthy, but on the inside, I was suffering! In short, I understand, and I know how to help.

My unique 3-stage approach sets you up to succeed

Stage 1: Pre-Cleanse

The purpose of the 2-day pre-cleanse is to prepare your body for cleansing. Properly doing this step decreases the severity of detoxification symptoms and eases your body into the program. During the pre-cleanse, you will eat three full meals per day, plus snacks as needed, ideally chosen from the recipe guide. In this phase, we will begin cutting out sugar, gluten, dairy and alcohol and reducing coffee.

Stage 2: Cleanse (7 days)

During the cleanse, it is suggested you fully eliminate certain “avoid” foods and utilize the program’s cleansing tools for a deeper and more effective cleanse.

Stage 3: Post-Cleanse (2 days)

In the Post-Cleanse stage, also known as the re-entry period, you will be transitioning out of the deeper cleansing protocol while preparing to maintain the healthy habits you have found to be successful for yourself during the cleanse.

Will I be starving on this program?

Nope! This is not a calorie-restricted program, nor is it portion-restricted.  The recipes are satisfying and filling and you can always choose from one of the delicious snack recipes if you are hungry between meals.

Is this a vegetarian cleanse?

This program accommodates both vegetarians and omnivores. In the program materials, you will find daily options for vegetarian meals as well as those that incorporate clean, animal-based proteins. 

Are the recipes hard to make?

No! The whole-foods personal chef who created these recipes also has experience in teaching kitchen beginners the basics of cooking. The recipes, while incredibly delicious, are simple and easy to follow.

Is this a juice cleanse? Will I only be drinking liquids?

No, this is a whole food-based program meant to gently cleanse your body. While you will be incorporating a variety of smoothies (packed with detoxifying fruits and vegetables and plant-based protein), you’ll also be eating complete, well-rounded meals designed to support you body’s natural detoxification systems.

Will this program help me lose weight?

While weight loss isn’t the sole focus of this cleanse, it often does occur. Excess weight is often caused by eating foods that are not compatible for our body, as well as from the over-consumption of foods that lack the nutrients to truly nourish and satisfy us. During this program, you’ll be enjoying nutrient-dense foods that promote balance, satiety, and proper digestive function – all of which are key to a healthy weight.

Can I still exercise during this cleanse?

Yes, and you are encouraged to do so! Exercise supports the detoxification process and helps to provide energy.

Can I participate if I’m pregnant or nursing?

Generally speaking, this cleanse is safe for most everyone. That said, if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have any medical concerns beyond this, you should always consult your medical health care professional before starting this or any new eating or health program.
